A few days ago, Marvel announced that they’d be premiering a teaser trailer for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON during next week’s episode of AGENTS OF SHIELD. That would mean a sizable ratings boost for that polarizing t.v. series. Well, unfortunately for AGENTS OF SHIELD, the teaser trailer leaked and rather than stopping the leak, Marvel went ahead and trumped it by debuting a gorgeous HD quality version of the trailer along with a new poster today.

How is the trailer? In a nutshell,  it’s badass! Essentially, it’s a compact version of what Marvel shared with Comic-Con back in July. Now, I don’t proclaim to be a huge comic book reader but I do love me a great comic book based movie and the first AVENGERS is one my favorites.

AGE OF ULTRON looks decidedly darker than the first picture but with Joss Whedon back at the helm, it’s safe to say that this movie will have plenty of playful moments to go along with all that doom and gloom.

Whatever the tone, this flick looks big in terms of action and destruction, and I’m really digging the use of the PINOCCHIO tune in this effective trailer.  Have a look for yourself;
