CAFÉ SOCIETY is the 46th film written and directed by the great Woody Allen. This gorgeous-looking film gives us a glimpse at 1930’s Hollywood and features Jesse Eisenberg as a writer who moves to Tinsel Town hoping to make it big in the movie industry. Allen’s latest looks like an absolute winner and goes a long way to suggest that Amazon Studios–a studio with quite an impressive upcoming independent film lineup– is taking the distribution game very seriously. CAFE SOCIETY will have the honor of opening the 69th Cannes Film Festival later this month. Until then, have a look at the trailer and be sure to share your thoughts in the comment thread.
