CinemaCon 2017 Press Conference Goldie Hawn, Naomi Watts, John Cena & More!
CinemaCon is an annual convention held by the National Association of Theater Owners. Formally ShoWest, CinemaCon takes place at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV. Over the course of 4 days, the convention, which attracts exhibitors from all around the globe, showcases the latest and greatest in movie theater hardware (projectors, screens, sound equipment, seats, etc.) and snack bar goodness (Redvines, popcorn, beverages, etc.) Of course we at CinemaCon come for the epic studio presentations and what better place for a major studio to unveil their breathtaking sizzle reels then Caesars’ legendary Colosseum. Every year, our Cinemast team has the privilege of attending Cinemacon’s Awards Ceremony Press Conference. It’s here where the Cinemacon award winners make their rounds with the press. Cinemacon 2017 marched out some pretty great talent this year, however, not everyone accepting an award made it through to the press room. Unfortunately, Jordan Peele (Director of the Year), Ansel Elgort (Male Star of Tomorrow), Sofia Boutella (Female Star of Tomorrow), and Jessica Chastain (Female Star of the Year) were unable to grace us with their presence for a myriad of reasons.
