WELCOME TO THE “HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA”

This movie looks positively adorable, particularly if you grew up a “monster kid.” Part of me wishes they’d stay away from moments of blatant frat boy humor (i.e. The Invisible Man titty twister bit is taking things a little too far) but you had to know that man-child Adam Sandler was going to get a least a couple of those gags in there.
Regardless, the first HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, from director Genndy Tartakovsky, was a pleasant surprise. It was cute and colorful, and it had energy to spare. I took the wife and kids to see it and we had a great time.
This one looks to have a fittingly similar tone and while I can’t speak for the rest of the world, I can tell you that the Mast family is greatly looking forward to this one!
HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 opens in the U.S. on September 25th, 2015.
