SONY DECIDES TO PULL “THE INTERVIEW” FROM THEIR RELEASE SCHEDULE

BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY
Article by Adam Mast

The terrorists have won. Sony bows down to hacker threats. The studio has cancelled their upcoming release, THE INTERVIEW. This coming right after a well received screening of the film at Butt-Numb-A-Thon in Austin, TX. Better to be safe than sorry, though. If someone says they’ll commit violent acts at theaters showing your movie, it’s probably better to cancel or delay the release. The studio currently looking at alternative options. Perhaps VOD or a theatrical release date later on down the road.  Sad. I was looking forward to this flick. Guess I’ll watch TEAM AMERICA as a pick me up.

On a final note, investigators are suggesting that North Korea is behind the breach at Sony. More news as it becomes available.
