Holy crap! As if you needed yet another reason to be excited about STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS!! For now, you can file this under rumor, but if this turns out to be legit, then December 2015 can’t come soon enough!
This morning, TwitchFilm reported that THE RAID 2 stars Uko Iwais, Yayan Ruhian, and Cecep Arif Rahman may appear in J.J. Abrams’ highly anticipated RETURN OF THE JEDI follow-up. Why is this a big deal? Well, aside from the fact that THE RAID 2 is the best film of 2014, not a whole lot. Seriously, Gareth Evans’ martial arts extravaganza is probably the greatest action flick since 1988’s DIE HARD and the idea that three of its charismatic leads will be in a STAR WARS movie has me positively giddy!
No telling who the trio might be playing here, but if this really goes down, it’s simply three more amazing cast members joining an already unbelievable kick-ass cast! We’ll keep you posted on this news.
