TOM CRUISE FLIES THE FRIENDLY SKIES…LITERALLY!

Tom Cruise takes a lot of shit from a lot of people, but personally, I think he’s great! So what if he jumped on Oprah’s couch! The guy commits 100% every time he’s on screen and he’s been doing it since the early 80’s. Of his monstrously successful body of work, it might be the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise that has proven to be the most popular.
Given the enormous GHOST PROTOCOL box-office take, you had to know it was only a matter of time before we’d get a number 5. This time, Christopher McQuarrie (JACK REACHER) is at the helm in what looks to be a fusion of all the entries that came before it. Yes, even John Woo’s installment, as is completely evident by the insane motorcycle chases in this high octane clip.
As for the plot, this time, it looks like Ethan Hunt and crew are up against an anti-IMF team, hence the subtitle; ROGUE NATION. How does it all look? Pretty bad ass if you ask me. Even in his 50’s, Tom Cruise continues to commit 100% and if you thought his scaling the tallest building in the world was impressive in the last picture, wait until you witness Maverick dangling from the side of a jet during take-off. That ain’t no stunt man either! That’s Cruise up there, doing all this crazy, death defying shit in the name of entertainment! This guy is a mad man and that’s why I am and forever will be a fan.
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE: ROGUE NATION, starring Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, and Alec Baldwin, was initially slated for Christmas, but now you can get your MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE on in theaters and Imax on July 29th.
