ZACK SNYDER V  J.J. ABRAMS: A PLAYFUL RIVALRY
Article by Adam Mast

December 2015 will see the release of one of the most anticipated movies of all time in STAR WARS EPISODE VII. Three months later, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will make its theatrical bow. Currently, both films are knee deep in production and anticipation for EPISODE VII and DAWN OF JUSTICE couldn’t be higher.

While fans theorize and dissect every new rumor that pops up in regard to these movies, directors Zack Snyder and J.J. Abrams have decided to kick the fun up a notch by waging a lively social media war.

It all started when Zack Snyder tweeted an amusing photo of Superman as a Sith. From there, we’ve seen photos of C3PO as the Dark Knight, Batman hanging with R2D2 on Tatooine, EPISODE VII co-star John Boyega dressed as the Caped Crusader, and a Storm Trooper being arrested by Gotham police officers for stealing the Batmobile.  The playful rivalry has  peeked with stunning video of the Millenium Falcon straight from the set of a galaxy far, far, away.

Only time will tell if these films will live up to such astronomically high expectations (for the record, I’m fairly confident at least one of them will) but God bless Snyder and Abrams for making this such a great time to be super hero and STAR WARS fans.
